Job description

Smart Learn Tutoring LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to employees, tutors, and administrative staff. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining company technology systems, supporting remote employees, and ensuring that all staff have the technical resources needed to deliver exceptional educational services.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions for new employees.
  • Support video conferencing platforms used for tutoring and meetings.
  • Maintain inventory of company technology assets.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and system upgrades.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support requests using the IT ticketing system.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing technology equipment and user accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity and data privacy policies.
  • Support cloud-based applications and productivity software.
  • Assist with disaster recovery procedures and data backup processes.
  • Train employees on technology best practices and company software.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve equipment or service issues.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency support when necessary.
    * Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    * Minimum age of 21 years.
    * Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
    * Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    * Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    * Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
    * Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
