Founding Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Founding Sales Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to be the technical face of Agnify—turning customer video problems into working solutions and closing deals.

You'll join as the first GTM hire at a 3-month-old company that's raised $5M to build the observability layer for the physical world using AI and existing cameras.

This is a true 50/50 sales-engineering hybrid role where you'll scope use cases on factory floors, build proofs of concept, and help define how we sell.

You'll report directly to the founder and help drive the company toward $1M ARR, selling into mid-sized manufacturers and logistics companies.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Visit customer sites (factories, logistics centers) to deeply understand their video use cases, refine requirements, and make hardware recommendations (cameras, edge devices, network setup).

• Build live demos and proofs of concept against real customer footage, then translate customer needs into clear specifications for the engineering team.

• Own the technical sales motion end-to-end—from first discovery call through signed contract—for deals averaging $50K–100K ACV.

• Support outreach and hypothesis generation, including cold calls, conference visits, and working with agencies to generate pipeline.

• Upsell existing customers on new use cases (e.g., expanding from equipment utilization tracking to quality control) to reduce churn and grow accounts.
