Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage the procurement of piping, mechanical, structural, and industrial materials for project and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials while meeting technical specifications and project deadlines.

 Key Responsibilities

* Source and procure industrial materials from qualified suppliers.

* Review Material Requisitions (MRs) and prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs).

* Evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and issue Purchase Orders (POs).

* Track orders and coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Logistics, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure on-time delivery.

* Ensure materials comply with project specifications and applicable industry standards.

* Manage supplier relationships, resolve procurement issues, and monitor supplier performance.

* Maintain procurement records in the ERP system and prepare procurement reports.

* Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely project support.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors.

* Strong knowledge of piping materials and procurement processes.

* Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

* Good understanding of industry standards, supplier management, logistics, and commercial negotiations.

* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
