📌 Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Streaming Data Engineer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of large-scale real-time data processing platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Apache Spark, AWS Flink, and Apache Kafka, along with proven experience providing technical leadership and delivering highly scalable streaming solutions.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of real-time data processing pipelines.
Build scalable and fault-tolerant streaming applications using Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Apache Kafka.
Define technical standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and development methodologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
Optimize streaming applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Drive solution design reviews, code reviews, and production-readiness assessments.
Mentor and guide development teams across onshore and offshore locations.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical incidents.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Make architecture and technology decisions for enterprise-scale streaming platforms.
🎯 Ideal Candidate
10+ years of overall software/data engineering experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with real-time streaming and distributed data processing.
Strong experience with Apache Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Kafka.
Strong programming experience in Python or Java.
Experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant streaming systems.
Excellent communication, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
