OB/GYN Physician

A mission-driven community health organization in Southwest Georgia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to join its established Women’s Health team. Practice Environment

The organization operates a large, multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center system serving tens of thousands of patients each year. Their integrated care model includes primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, women’s health, dentistry, vision care, pharmacy services, and mobile clinics serving rural communities.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetric care including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services

• Deliver comprehensive gynecologic care including preventive care, contraception counseling, and minor procedures

• Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries in partnership with affiliated hospitals

• Collaborate with an integrated care team addressing medical and social determinants of health

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs

• Support mentoring of advanced practice providers and clinical staff when appropriate

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia

• DEA registration or eligibility

• Interest in community health and serving underserved populations preferred

• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
