Contract Length:                           6+ month contract to hire

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote:              Hybrid in Wilmington, DE

Position Details:

• Own end‑to‑end GCP infrastructure design, deployment, and operations using Terraform and automation to deliver secure, scalable, reliable environments.

• Govern core GCP services—including Cloud Run, GKE, networking, IAM, and security controls—by defining lifecycle standards, scaling patterns, segmentation, and operational runbooks.

• Design and enforce GCP networking, Shared VPC models, routing, connectivity, and firewall policies.

• Secure inbound application exposure through Cloud Load Balancing and Cloud Armor with compliant rollout patterns.

• Own CI/CD standards and deployment automation for GCP workloads.

• Define service enablement, secrets management, and centralized logging/monitoring using Cloud Operations Suite and enterprise observability tools.

• Serve as primary Cloud Operations lead for reliability engineering, incident response, RCA, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain secondary ownership of Azure to support hybrid/multi‑cloud integration.

• Act as liaison across Cloud Ops, Security, Networking, Architecture, and App teams to translate architecture into enforceable operating standards.

• Architect and govern reusable Terraform modules for GCP/Azure.

• Lead vendor/tooling evaluations and mentor engineers to elevate operational maturity.

• Support PCI and regulatory audits through compliant infrastructure and evidence collection.

Required skill/experience:

• 4+ years GCP production operations (Cloud Run, GKE, VPC, Secret Manager)

• 2+ years Terraform design/governance and reusable module development

• CI/CD ownership for cloud‑native workloads

• Architecture‑level cloud design experience

• Deep expertise in GCP networking, IAM, security, observability

• Strong enterprise cloud security and segmentation strategies

• Expert Terraform (state, modules, GitOps workflows)
