What You Will Do

Depending on the client’s individualized plan of care, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
• Preparing meals and providing light housekeeping
• Offering medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
• Supporting clients living with dementia or memory loss
• Documenting completed care and communicating important changes
• Completing other assigned tasks outlined in the client’s plan of care

What We Are Looking For

• Active Washington State CNA credential
• At least 18 years of age
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dementia care experience preferred
• Sound judgment and the ability to recognize and report changes in a client’s condition
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Current automobile insurance
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel between client homes
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling, communication, and documentation
• Current CPR certification and Food Worker Card, or the ability to obtain them
• Ability to pass all required DSHS background checks and pre-employment screening
