Job description –
Industry experience: Financial Services experience is preferred.
Must-have skills: Java, Spring Boot (8–10 years), Kafka (3–4 years), Microservices (6+ years), AWS (4+ years), and Terraform (5+ years).
Required experience: 1-2 years lead experience
Job description:
• Experience leading teams of technologists. Track record of owning end-to-end engineering outcomes across multiple teams/services: architecture, implementation, automated testing strategy, release readiness, and post-production operations (observability, incident management, post-incident actions).
• Strong cloud-native delivery experience on AWS, including guiding teams through design, build, deployment, and steady-state operations of production services.
• Strong fundamentals in OO design, distributed systems, and modern SDLC practices. Tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Kafka, SQL.
• Strong automation and productivity mindset, including building/standardizing tools, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines; practical experience enabling effective use of AI-assisted development to improve speed and quality.
• Deep knowledge of Agile/DevOps at scale, including CI/CD, resiliency patterns, secure-by-design engineering, and reliability practices (e.g., SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning).
