The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for tutoring and administrative positions. This role is critical in helping our organization build a talented team dedicated to supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
* Post job openings on job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
* Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
* Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews.
* Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
* Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
* Verify employment history, education, certifications, and references.
* Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
* Assist with onboarding and new employee orientation.
* Build partnerships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations.
* Attend job fairs and recruitment events.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
* Prepare recruitment reports and hiring metrics for leadership.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
* Minimum age of 21 years old.
* Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online recruiting platforms.
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
