📌 Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Streaming Data Engineer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of large-scale real-time data processing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Apache Spark, AWS Flink, and Apache Kafka, along with proven experience providing technical leadership and delivering highly scalable streaming solutions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of real-time data processing pipelines.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant streaming applications using Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Apache Kafka.
• Define technical standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and development methodologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
• Optimize streaming applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Drive solution design reviews, code reviews, and production-readiness assessments.
• Mentor and guide development teams across onshore and offshore locations.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical incidents.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Make architecture and technology decisions for enterprise-scale streaming platforms.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of overall software/data engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with real-time streaming and distributed data processing.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Flink, and Kafka.
• Strong programming experience in Python or Java.
• Experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant streaming systems.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
