Devcare solutions is currently recruiting for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) contract opportunity in Waco, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an LVN seeking a consistent weekday schedule in a clinical healthcare setting.

Position Details

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Waco, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 8-Week Contract

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 40 Hours per Week

• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Manager.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.

• Educate patients regarding medications and treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records.

• Perform computer data entry (training provided).

• Follow established nursing standards, facility policies, and clinical procedures.

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HHSC, and facility regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Deliver compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.

• Ability to meet HHSC immunization requirements.

• Willingness to complete required drug screening and fingerprinting.

• Ability to complete all required facility orientation and HHSC training.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

• Previous clinical, psychiatric, behavioral health, or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
