Auria Robotics Inc. is a fast-growing startup revolutionizing autism support through AI-powered, modular companion robots. Our flagship product—Auria Robot—offers personalized, emotionally intelligent learning support for neurodiverse children at home, in schools, and in clinics. Following our CES 2026 showcase, we’re entering our next growth phase and are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to help us bring our next-generation product to market in Q3 2026.

 

 What You will Do

  • Lead design, development, and iteration of our modular robot hardware (iPad-integrated, multi-sensor platform).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software, AI, and design teams to optimize functionality, safety, and user experience.

  • Oversee mechanical prototyping, DFM (design for manufacturing), and durability testing for mass market readiness.

  • Evaluate, select, and integrate sensors, actuators, power modules, and connectors to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Shape the hardware roadmap from prototype to commercial launch.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years in robotics, mechatronics, or consumer electronics hardware development.

  • Proficiency with motor systems, IMUs, encoders, ToF sensors, servos, battery management, and USB-C.

  • Skilled in CAD, PCB layout, and rapid prototyping tools.

  • Experience with hardware-software integration in real-time systems.

  • Passionate about building purposeful tech—bonus if you have connection to autism or neurodiverse causes.
