Position Summary:The Inventory Leader is responsible for overseeing all inventory control activities to ensure accurate stock levels, smooth material flow, and proper record-keeping within the warehouse. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise the inventory control team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks are completed accurately and on time.
· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with warehouse, inbound, and outbound teams.
· Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
· Coordinate with procurement, operations, and quality control to ensure product availability and quality.
· Generate and analyze inventory reports to support operational decision-making.
· Train and develop inventory staff to improve productivity and accuracy.
· Support warehouse layout optimization for efficient storage and retrieval.
· Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and storage of products.
· Lead periodic full inventory counts and reconcile results in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of warehouse or inventory control experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
· Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and compliance requirements.
Work Environment:
· Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
· May require occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
