Mid-Level Power & Renewables Transactional Associate – Houston 

The ideal candidate will have experience representing and advising clients on power and renewable energy M&A and joint venture transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture and development agreements, and related transaction documents, as well as managing due diligence and closing processes. Strong drafting, organizational, and project management skills are essential.

• Provide legal support for transactions in the power and renewables sector, including drafting and negotiating contracts.

• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for various projects and transactions.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategies for successful project execution.

• Stay updated on industry regulations and market trends to advise clients effectively.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Relevant experience in transactional law, particularly in the power and renewables industry.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
