About the company

A funded, fast-growing AI startup building agent technology that automates back-office operations for logistics providers and shippers, an industry still running huge volumes of manual work: appointment setting, quoting, load entry, and more. The company is capturing serious momentum in a multi-trillion dollar market and already has enterprise customers signing large platform deals.

The role

You'll own enterprise customer deployments end-to-end, acting as the connective tissue between large logistics customers and internal delivery teams. This means translating complex, often messy supply chain workflows into live, working AI agent configurations — not managing a backlog from behind a desk. This is a foundational hire: you'll help build the deployment playbook itself, not just execute someone else's.

Important: this role is fully on-site, 5 days a week, in either New York or San Francisco. New York is the preferred location due to proximity to East Coast customers. This is not a hybrid or remote-friendly role, and candidates should only apply if they are located in or genuinely willing to relocate to one of these two cities.

What you'll do

• Own enterprise customer deployments end-to-end, from discovery and workflow design through go-live and long-term account success
• Serve as the executive point of contact for large, high-value accounts, managing stakeholder communication and expectation-setting directly with customer leadership
• Translate complex business processes into executable AI agent workflows, working closely with the engineering delivery team
• Manage 1–3 concurrent high-stakes accounts with distinct timelines, with travel of roughly 30% for customer milestones, sometimes on short notice
• Help build and scale the deployment playbook itself as one of the foundational hires shaping this function

What you must bring

• 3–8 years in a customer-facing role — product manager, engagement manager, consultant, founder, or similar
• Direct experience implementing software for enterprise clients
• Executive presence and polished, native-level English communication, with real experience presenting to VP/C-suite stakeholders
• Working technical fluency with LLMs, APIs, JSON, and SQL, and the ability to map real customer workflows into technical designs
• Comfort managing 1–3 concurrent accounts with distinct timelines and requirements
• Genuine willingness to work 60–65 hours a week and travel on short notice (roughly 30%)
• Located in or willing to relocate to New York or San Francisco

Nice to have

• Background in consulting, bizops, or operations
• Experience in industrial, supply chain, or logistics-adjacent roles (3PL, warehousing, freight, etc.)
• Non-traditional educational background — this team has had strong success with people from industrial and operations research programs, and does not require a top-ranked school

Compensation & logistics

$150K–$240K base plus competitive equity. Fully on-site, five days a week, in New York or San Francisco (New York preferred). Seven openings. Not open to any visa sponsorship — candidates must already be authorized to work in the US (citizen or Green Card holder).

This isn't the right fit if

You're looking for a traditional, internal-facing PM role rather than a hands-on, customer-facing deployment role. It's also not the right fit if you're not comfortable with ambiguity, or if you're looking for something lower-intensity than a 60+ hour week with short-notice travel. This role rewards people who are genuinely willing to do the unglamorous, on-the-ground work of a deployment, not just the strategy layer.
