Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Union Benefit Specialist. The Union Benefit Specialist will connect with union members to explain their benefits, help them understand their coverage options, and guide them in making informed decisions. Responsibilities also include managing benefits enrollment, addressing member inquiries, and maintaining detailed records. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure continuous support and service excellence for union members.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with union members
Excellent organizational and administrative skills for managing benefits enrollments and maintaining accurate records
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities for addressing inquiries and providing practical solutions
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Basic computer skills and familiarity with virtual communication tools
Previous experience in customer service, insurance, or benefits management is an asset but not required
High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
