Service Technician

Position: Service Technician

Location: Madison, WI 53704

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; hours may vary based on operational needs

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Initial Assignment: 8 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, minor, and major property maintenance and repairs

• Complete work orders and unit make-ready assignments

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance as required

• Troubleshoot basic appliance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues

• Maintain interior and exterior property conditions

• Assist with property inspections and safety compliance

• Support after-hours emergency maintenance and snow removal when required

Requirements:

• General maintenance experience required; 3–4 years of related experience/training preferred

• Knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance preferred

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required

• Own basic hand tools or willingness to obtain required tools

• EPA Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of employment

• Ability to accommodate occasional after-hours/weekend emergencies
