Site/Civil Project Engineer

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to support a diverse portfolio of public and private projects, including parks and greenspace, campuses and universities, stormwater, utility, and transportation infrastructure. This role will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from early design concepts through construction administration, while collaborating with architects, engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design work involving site design, grading and drainage, roads and pavement, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.

• Develop conceptual layouts, construction drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs, stormwater calculations, and water/sewer designs.

• Deliver high-quality work within established project budgets and timelines.

• Collaborate with project managers and senior staff on project status, schedules, design decisions, and construction-related issues.

• Perform construction administration activities and periodic site visits to monitor work quality and progress.

• Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.

• Support stormwater and utility design efforts, including stormwater management practices, conveyance systems, SWPPPs, and water/sewer infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.

• EIT certification preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.

• Stormwater or utility design experience, including HydroCAD or comparable modeling software, is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
