Title:                                                Development Lead- FACETS

Contract Length:                           6+ month Contract to Hire

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote:              Hybrid in Newtown Square, PA or possibly consider remote candidates within EST

Position Details:

• Functional & Technical Leadership — Serve as the lead SME for the Member Enrollment Application, owning system functionality, data flows, and integration points across the enrollment ecosystem.

• Business Support — Respond to and resolve business queries related to member enrollment, eligibility, EDI transactions, and downstream impacts.

• Team Leadership — Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 developers, providing direction on design, development, troubleshooting, and best practices for enrollment-related enhancements.

• Incident & Tier 2 Support — Own Tier 2 application support for enrollment issues, including root-cause analysis, SQL-based investigation, and coordination with business and IT teams.

• Technical Guidance — Provide actionable input to developers to resolve incidents, improve system performance, and enhance enrollment workflows.

• Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to optimize enrollment processes, improve data quality, and strengthen system reliability.

Required skill/experience:

• Healthcare Payer Expertise — 8+ years of experience in the healthcare payer domain, with strong understanding of enrollment, eligibility, membership, and regulatory requirements.

• FACETS Member & Extensions — 5+ years of hands-on experience with FACETS, FACETS Extensions, and Member module functionality, including surrounding application areas.

• EDI 834/820 — Strong working knowledge of EDI 834 enrollment transactions and EDI 820 payment/remittance files.

• SQL Expertise — 5+ years of SQL experience, including query writing, debugging, performance tuning, and data analysis for enrollment and eligibility workflows.

• Modern Web Development — 3+ years of hands-on development experience using Angular or React and .NET for building REST APIs (highly preferred and required for current roadmap).

• Technical Problem Solving — Ability to analyze complex enrollment issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution across cross-functional teams.
