Bilingual English–Spanish Translator | Remote | Paid Training | Translation, Editing & Proofreading

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Translator (English/Spanish) to join our remote team. In this role, you will translate, edit, and proofread a variety of written materials while ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency. What You’ll Do

• Translate documents, emails, website content, marketing materials, and other written communications between English and Spanish.

• Edit and proofread translated content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.

• Ensure translations accurately convey the original meaning while adapting content for cultural relevance.

• Maintain terminology consistency using company style guides and glossaries.

• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify translation requirements and deadlines.

• Review machine-translated content and improve it for natural, fluent readability.

• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

• Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills in both languages.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.

• Previous translation, editing, proofreading, or bilingual communication experience is preferred but not always required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, Spanish, English, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Experience translating business, legal, medical, technical, educational, or marketing content.

• Familiarity with translation software or CAT tools is a plus.

• Experience reviewing AI-generated translations is beneficial.
