The HR Manager will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and organizational development. Recruitment & Staffing
* Develop and manage recruitment strategies for tutors and administrative staff.
* Post job openings, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.
* Maintain talent pipelines and candidate databases.
* Oversee onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
Employee Relations
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts.
* Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
* Support managers with performance management processes.
HR Operations & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
* Develop and update company policies and procedures.
* Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Training & Development
* Coordinate employee training and professional development programs.
* Identify workforce development opportunities.
* Support leadership development and coaching initiatives.

* Monitor payroll processes in partnership with payroll staff.
Strategic HR Leadership

Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
Preferred
* SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
* Experience working in education, tutoring, or nonprofit environments.
* Experience managing remote teams.
