Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

You will join a remote-first engineering organization as a senior fullstack engineer building new products from zero to one. This is a high-ownership role: you will take features from initial concept through design, implementation, launch, and iteration, working across the front end, back end, and mobile surfaces of the platform. You will work in TypeScript end to end, partner directly with product and design, and talk to restaurant operators to shape what gets built. Beyond shipping, you will raise the bar around you — mentoring less experienced engineers, contributing to architecture and code review, and helping hire the next wave of the team. The role reports to [Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering] and collaborates closely with product, design, and go-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship new products and features from 0 to 1 across the full stack, moving quickly without sacrificing quality.

• Own projects end to end — from conception through shipping and post-launch iteration — producing modular, maintainable, well-tested code.

• Deliver measurable value to end users across the entire system, including the merchant website, online ordering,

CRM, POS, and mobile experiences.

• Develop in TypeScript throughout: React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js and MongoDB on the back end, and React Native on mobile.

• Shape product direction by talking directly to restaurant operators and contributing to feature brainstorms and roadmap planning.

• Apply AI tooling in your day-to-day engineering workflow and help design AI-driven product capabilities that do

the work on the customer's behalf.

• Maintain a high bar for code quality, testing, and architectural design through thorough code review and

technical design discussions.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, elevating the technical skill and judgment of the people around you.

• Contribute to team building — interview candidates, refer strong engineers, and help improve engineering culture and process.
