DrawingAssist.ai is transforming how construction professionals interact with technical drawings and project documentation. We're building AI-powered tools that automatically analyze construction documents, extract critical information, and help project teams work faster and smarter. As a two-person startup, you'll work directly with the founders to build cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real problems in the construction industry.

Role Description

• Assist in the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for construction drawing automation.

• Leverage AI tools and LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for accelerated development, research, and problem-solving.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and data analysis techniques.
• Collaborate on creative problem solving with the founders to deliver to users needs.

• Developing APIs for AI inference and document processing

• Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability.

• Building document parsing pipelines with OCR and layout analysis

• Working with vector databases (PostgreSQL + pgvector) for intelligent document search

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face) a plus.

Qualification

• Currently pursuing or have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.

• Basic understanding of AI concepts and data analysis techniques.

• Intermediate understanding of using AI coding and researching tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
