Position Details:
Job Title: RN Medical Surgical
Location: Salem, VA 24153
Shift: Full-Time Mixed/Night Shift (Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $31.70/hr – $47.54/hr + full-time benefits
Sign-on bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation assistance: $1,500
Willing to cross-train any Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and identify changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses
• Perform patient care procedures and clinical interventions as ordered
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Provide exceptional patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment
• Acute Care experience preferred
