Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)
📍 Location: Remote (USA & Canada)
Lenoo Tech is hiring an exceptional Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to build and scale the core platform powering our products. This role is for engineers who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and have a proven track record of building production systems from the ground up.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
5–12 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong experience building scalable APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and production infrastructure.
Deep understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, observability, and performance optimization.
Demonstrated ownership of production systems from architecture through deployment and long-term maintenance.
Startup experience is required (preferably Series A–E companies).
0→1 product-building experience is required.
Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building internal platform or infrastructure tooling.
Experience improving developer productivity and engineering velocity.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) is a plus.

You have less than 5 years or more than 12 years of software engineering experience.
Your background is primarily in Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering, MLOps, or AI Research without significant backend infrastructure engineering.
You do not have strong Node.js + TypeScript production experience.
You do not have startup and 0→1 product-building experience.
Your experience is primarily frontend or general full-stack development without deep backend infrastructure expertise.
You require visa sponsorship or are not authorized to work in the USA or Canada.
