What You’ll Do

As an RSP Teacher, you’ll provide individualized academic support while working closely with students, families, general education teachers, and related service providers.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning

  • Support students through push-in, pull-out, small-group, and 1:1 instruction

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals

  • Manage your caseload and maintain accurate progress documentation

  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings

  • Collaborate with general education teachers regarding accommodations and modifications

  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress

  • Maintain compliance with IDEA, California Education Code, and district requirements

  • Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes

👩 🏫 What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an educator who brings both strong Special Education expertise and genuine passion for student advocacy.

Required qualifications:

  • Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential

  • Authorization in Mild/Moderate Support Needs

  • Strong understanding of IEPs, case management, and compliance

  • Experience supporting students in inclusive/general education settings

  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

  • Active California CTC clearance

  • Previous school-based Special Education or RSP experience preferred
