What You’ll Do
As an RSP Teacher, you’ll provide individualized academic support while working closely with students, families, general education teachers, and related service providers.
Your responsibilities may include:
Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning
Support students through push-in, pull-out, small-group, and 1:1 instruction
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
Manage your caseload and maintain accurate progress documentation
Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
Collaborate with general education teachers regarding accommodations and modifications
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
Maintain compliance with IDEA, California Education Code, and district requirements
Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
👩 🏫 What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an educator who brings both strong Special Education expertise and genuine passion for student advocacy.
Required qualifications:
Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential
Authorization in Mild/Moderate Support Needs
Strong understanding of IEPs, case management, and compliance
Experience supporting students in inclusive/general education settings
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Active California CTC clearance
Previous school-based Special Education or RSP experience preferred
