About This Role
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained. Your attention to detail and adherence to infection control procedures will help support our healthcare team in providing safe and effective patient care.
Location: Portland, OR/Stillwater, MN/Chico, CA
Shift: 8 hours; Day shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Contract: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
Perform sterilization techniques for medical instruments and equipment.
Implement infection control protocols to prevent contamination.
Handle and prepare medical instruments for surgical procedures.
Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.
Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety guidelines.
Maintain and troubleshoot sterilization equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have CRCST/CBSPD Certification.
- Must have 2 years of Sterile Tech experience.
- Must have BLS from AHA.
