Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Gas Turbine Design Engineer to lead complex engineering design and development initiatives involving gas turbine components, systems, and technologies.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, guide cross-functional engineering teams, and take ownership of design and product development projects from concept through validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams on complex gas turbine design and development projects

• Provide technical direction and engineering support

• Resolve manufacturing and operational challenges

• Own design acceptance, manufacturability, and validation activities

• Develop project scope, requirements, and technical solutions

• Develop and maintain engineering technology roadmaps

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency, reliability, and quality improvement

• Establish and implement engineering procedures and best practices

• Translate functional requirements into detailed engineering design documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering field

• Strong experience in gas turbine design and development

• Previous experience as a Design Lead, Technical Lead, or Project Lead

• Demonstrated ownership of engineering design or product development projects

• Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing, producibility, and validation

• Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making skills

• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication abilities
