About Us

The Ill Noise Business Playbook (TINBP) is an independent media and community platform dedicated to authentic storytelling, meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Joe and Neha Weisman, TINBP features compelling interviews with entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders, and individuals whose stories deserve to be heard.

Through our YouTube interview series, digital content, community events, and growing network of relationships, we're building something bigger than a traditional podcast.

Our philosophy is simple: Great stories create connections. Connections create opportunities.

As we prepare for our next stage of growth in 2027, we're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven individual to help expand our sponsorship and business partnership opportunities.

About the OpportunityWe're seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Representative who is excited about helping grow an emerging media platform.

This person will identify potential sponsors, build relationships with local businesses, introduce partnership opportunities, and help generate revenue through our expanding media network.

We're looking for someone who sees the bigger picture—not simply someone interested in selling advertising.

Responsibilities

・ Identify and approach potential business sponsors and strategic partners.

・ Develop relationships with businesses throughout McHenry County, the Fox Valley, and surrounding Chicagoland communities.

・ Present TINBP's episode sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

・ Manage prospect outreach, follow-ups, and sales conversations.

・ Help convert qualified prospects into paying partners.

・ Maintain accurate records of prospects and partnership activity.

・ Collaborate with TINBP's founders to identify new revenue opportunities.

・ Represent TINBP professionally and uphold our relationship-first approach.

What We're Looking For

・ Experience in sales, business development, sponsorships, or relationship-based networking is preferred.

・ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

・ Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable initiating conversations.

・ Existing relationships within the local business community are a plus.

・ Interest in media, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and community building.

・ Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team.

・ Someone who believes in building long-term relationships rather than pursuing quick transactions.

Compensation & Growth

This is an initially commission-based opportunity, with compensation earned through successful, collected partnerships.

Commission terms and the working arrangement will be discussed during the selection process.

We're looking for someone interested in contributing to TINBP's long-term growth while developing their own professional opportunities.

Why Join TINBP?

We're a small, independent team with an ambitious vision.

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with the founders, develop relationships throughout the Chicagoland business community, and help shape the growth of an emerging storytelling and media platform.

We value initiative, integrity, creativity, and genuine human connection.

We're not just looking for someone to sell sponsorships. We're looking for someone who believes in what we're building.
