Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

The RN will support patients during labor, delivery, immediate recovery, and postpartum care, while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Coach and support patients throughout the labor process.
• Assist physicians and the healthcare team during deliveries.
• Provide immediate recovery and postpartum care.
• Educate patients and families on newborn and infant care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Work comfortably in an OR setting when required.
• Serve as the Baby RN during deliveries when needed.

Facility & Unit Information

• LDRP Model: Level 1 with Special Care Nursery
• Experience in a higher-acuity Labor & Delivery environment is a plus.
• St. Peter’s Hospital: Level 3 facility

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license – Required
• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong maternal and newborn care experience.
• Comfortable working in an OR setting.
• Ability to function as a Baby RN when required.
• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical skills.

Compensation & Schedule

💵 $47.83/hour
⏰ 36 hours/week
🌙 Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
📅 3 shifts per week
