Systems DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers in cloud environments.

• Lead Systems Administration and DevOps efforts supporting mission-critical applications.

• Deploy and maintain custom-developed software, COTS, and GOTS applications.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Support system architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments.

• Collaborate with development teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.

• Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise systems in secure environments.

• Support application deployment using cloud, remote desktop, and web technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience (12+ years preferred for senior-level candidates).

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

• DoD 8570 compliant (Security+ certification required).

• Experience with AWS cloud services.

• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and infrastructure design.

• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies.

• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience using GitLab.

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.

• Experience developing web applications using Python.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies.

• Experience with AWS services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, and EKS.

• Experience with AWS Serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, Auto Scaling, Load Balancing).

• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Docker containers.

• Experience creating and maintaining architecture diagrams.

• Experience administering collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Rocket.Chat.
