As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of frontend and backend development to deliver polished, high-performing, and user-centered applications. You’ll collaborate across design, backend, and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences powered by robust APIs and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern frameworks.

  • Design and implement backend APIs with Python (FastAPI), with considerations for scalability and security.

  • Collaborate closely with designers and backend/frontend specialists to ensure alignment across the stack.

  • Participate in full SDLC: from planning, documenting, and coding to deploying and monitoring.

  • Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

  • Write clean, well-documented code and comprehensive tests.

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team knowledge sharing.

A Typical Day

  1. Team Communication (1h) – Coordinate across design, product, and engineering. Share updates, challenges, and plans.

  2. Research and Discussion (1h) – Dive deep into problems, explore solutions, and document findings for your team.

  3. Documentation (1h) – Comment your code thoroughly and maintain clear technical documentation.

  4. Development (2h) – Implement new features, fix bugs, and improve system performance and usability.

  5. Operations (2h) – Set up and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure using containers and CI/CD tools.

  6. QA and Code Review (1h) – Review peers’ code and write thoughtful, constructive feedback while improving your own work based on team feedback.

What We Look For

  • Curious, creative, and imaginative: Eager to explore how things work, and unafraid to build something new.

  • Communicative, transparent, responsible, and honest: You keep stakeholders informed, own your work, and speak up about risks or limitations.

  • Fast learner and collaborative: You adapt quickly, aren't afraid to ask questions, and contribute to a culture of learning.

Qualifications (Required)

  1. Fluent English communication skills.

  2. Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  3. Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React).

  4. Experience with Python web frameworks like FastAPI or Tornado.

  5. Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend/backend components.

  6. Familiarity with relational databases, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

  7. Experience with Git, Docker, and Linux.

  8. Understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.

  9. Ability to write clear documentation and tests.

  10. Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum teams.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  1. Experience with async programming and event-driven systems in Python.

  2. Proficiency in performance testing and browser-based debugging.

  3. Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).

  4. Experience setting up CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).

  5. Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and security best practices.
