  • Build advanced Excel models incorporating scenarios, sensitivities, and stress testing.

  • Evaluate investments using NPV, IRR, ROIC, payback, and other financial metrics.

  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Engineering, and Strategy teams to validate business cases.

  • Translate complex financial analysis into clear, executive-ready presentations and recommendations.

  • Present and defend investment recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

  • Establish consistent standards and methodologies for business cases and capital investment analysis.

  • Manage multiple strategic projects and executive deliverables simultaneously.

  • Hands-on experience building complex financial models and investment analyses.

  • Strong knowledge of NPV, IRR, ROIC, payback, valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.

  • Experience developing business cases and/or Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial analysis to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Energy, Utilities, Marine, Logistics, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Transportation, or another capital-intensive industry.

  • Experience with large-scale capital investments or strategic projects.

  • Experience working with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, or Strategy teams.

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar advanced credential.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategic finance professional who can independently build an investment model, pressure-test assumptions, evaluate financial risk and return, and confidently present recommendations to executive leadership.
