Job description

The California offices of Holland & Knight are seeking an experienced land use and environmental associate or counsel to join its West Coast Land Use and Environmental Group.  Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in litigation, including writ-based litigation under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA) or California housing laws, or traditional environmental litigation, and experience with land use entitlements and CEQA analyses. Experience with regulatory counseling under various state and federal environmental laws is also preferred. Candidates with some transferrable skills, such as strong litigation experience, but less experience with land use and environmental work will also be considered. Relevant transferable skills, a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills and admission to the California bar required. Los Angeles, Century City, or Newport Beach are the preferred office locations for this position. This position will only be filled in California.  In accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in California is $260,000 - $435,000/yr. This range is specific to this location and may not be applicable to other locations.  An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
