Business Analyst

Position Summary

Seeking a Business Analyst to support the migration of legacy Microsoft Access databases to an enterprise application platform. The role will focus on application assessment, business process analysis, requirements gathering, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and reverse-engineer Microsoft Access databases, including tables, relationships, SQL, forms, reports, macros, and VBA.

• Document business processes, workflows, requirements, data structures, and business rules.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.

• Collaborate with IT, business teams, financial SMEs, and implementation vendors.

• Support application modernization, migration, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Analyze financial workflows, budgeting, reporting, and related business logic.

• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, deliverables, and communications.

• Evaluate Low-Code/No-Code solutions such as Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Airtable, OutSystems, or Mendix.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise implementations or application modernization.

• 3+ years analyzing Microsoft Access databases.

• Strong requirements gathering and business process documentation experience.

• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Financial/business process analysis experience.

Preferred

PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or Scrum Master certification.

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background screening with a minimum 6-year look-back, where available.

• Laptop/desktop will be provided.

• Contractor must provide a cell phone and service plan for project communications.
