About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Backend Engineer (Golang) to join a dedicated Growth Squad focused on building, testing, and optimizing product features through rapid experimentation.

In this role, you will work closely with a frontend engineer and cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Europe to ship production experiments, measure performance, and scale successful features into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy backend experiments using Golang.
• Work within an existing Go codebase to implement targeted product changes.
• Develop and maintain REST and gRPC APIs.
• Make changes to billing, onboarding, credit systems, and other core product features.
• Instrument experiments with analytics and performance tracking.
• Analyze experiment results and improve successful features with production-quality code and testing.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Golang.
• Experience building REST and gRPC APIs.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in high-growth startup environments.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, product experimentation, and analytics.
• Experience working on customer-facing SaaS products.
