Job description
- Responsible for long-range plan and coordination of the selection, procurement, maintenance, upgrading and repair of all computer hardware, software, and netware in the district.
- Develops materials and technology training program for district personnel.
- Provides leadership for development and implementation of technology plan for the district.
- Serves as coordinator for the Universal Service E-Rate program for the district and assists with all technology grants received through the program.
- Coordinates administrative software system K-12 including training on student database, attendance, grade reporting and scheduling.
- Maintains an inventory of all district hardware and software and service maintenance agreements.
- Supervises technology personnel.
- Communicates with district and school personnel long-range plans and status of technology.
- Serves as district Technology Coordinator and liaison to Mississippi Department of Education technology staff
Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
