Responsible for long-range plan and coordination of the selection, procurement, maintenance, upgrading and repair of all computer hardware, software, and netware in the district.
Develops materials and technology training program for district personnel.
Provides leadership for development and implementation of technology plan for the district.
Serves as coordinator for the Universal Service E-Rate program for the district and assists with all technology grants received through the program.
Coordinates administrative software system K-12 including training on student database, attendance, grade reporting and scheduling.
Maintains an inventory of all district hardware and software and service maintenance agreements.
Supervises technology personnel.
Communicates with district and school personnel long-range plans and status of technology.
Serves as district Technology Coordinator and liaison to Mississippi Department of Education technology staff Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
