A fast-growing, profitable AI startup reimagining the call center with voice AI. The platform is used by companies across sales, support, and logistics to run AI voice agents that used to require large teams of human agents. The company has scaled rapidly on strong organic growth, is currently profitable, and is backed by top-tier investors.

The role

You'll deliver the company's voice AI solutions directly to enterprise clients, embedding with their teams to build production-ready systems end-to-end. This is a true zero-to-one, hands-on-keyboard role: you'll own features from conception through deployment, build full-stack integrations into enterprise tools, and work closely with founders who actively want your input on how things get built.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects on the company's voice agent platform, from prototyping through production, communicating progress and risk clearly along the way
• Become a go-to expert on building voice AI solutions, including LLM prompting techniques
• Build full-stack integrations (Python, JavaScript) with enterprise tools such as CRMs, ERPs, and scheduling systems
• Partner with sales to engage clients directly — gathering requirements, prototyping demos, and presenting system designs
• Scope projects, resolve blockers, and keep teams aligned with clear, concise updates
• Codify reusable patterns into tools or platform components rather than solving the same problem twice
• Translate field feedback into actionable product and go-to-market recommendations

What you must bring

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role at multiple startups, or a tenured track record with fast promotions at a large tech company
• 1.5+ years of experience at a VC-backed startup
• A B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a top-tier university
• Strong hands-on expertise with React, Node.js, Python, and AWS
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, with a track record of writing production-grade code, not just academic or side projects
• Strong, confident communication — comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and speaking up with ideas rather than waiting to be asked
• Genuine founder-level ownership mentality and comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Nice to have

• Prior experience in voice AI specifically
• Senior or staff-level experience in a comparable customer-facing technical role

Compensation & logistics

$215K–$290K base plus highly competitive equity. On-site in Redwood City, CA, five days a week, with flexibility to work remotely on Sundays. Three openings. Open to visa transfers (OPT, H1B transfer) — not currently sponsoring net-new H1B applications.
