Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prospect and develop new business across a defined territory using the Challenger sales methodology, targeting ideal customer profiles across IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and marketing
- Conduct multi-stakeholder discovery sessions and executive briefings to surface organizational challenges and align decision makers around tailored solutions
- Collaborate with sales engineers, consultants, and internal support teams to build and present customized solution proposals
- Deliver executive-level presentations and demonstrations, including a Business Transformation Assessment and a long-term digital roadmap for each client
- Manage the full sales pipeline from outbound outreach through close, maintaining accurate forecasting and consistent follow-up cadences
- Leverage the company sales technology stack, including Microsoft Dynamics, SalesLoft, and 6Sense, to build targeted outreach sequences and fuel pipeline growth
- Stay current on trends in IT, cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation to serve as a credible subject matter resource for clients and internal teams
You Should Have Most of the Following
- 5 or more years of B2B sales experience in IT services, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure, or in adjacent technology solutions such as SaaS, business software, digital transformation, automation, AI, or document and workflow technology
- Demonstrated track record of self-sourced, net-new business generation rather than inbound or renewals-driven pipelines
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of 6 months or longer
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and business owners by connecting solutions to risk, efficiency, productivity, or growth outcomes
- Strong consultative discovery skills, with a track record of uncovering the business problem behind the initial ask rather than selling on product fit alone
- Demonstrated coachability and resilience, with specific examples of applying feedback, adjusting approach, and managing long or difficult sales cycles
- Working knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, AI, and marketing solutions and how to position them against client needs
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, SalesLoft, 6Sense, or comparable platforms
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application
