Job Title: Epic Application Analyst – OpTime/Anesthesia
Location: White Plains, NY
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Days (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Salary Range: $46.66 – $69.99/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Application Analyst – OpTime to support the design, development, testing, implementation, and optimization of Epic OpTime/Anesthesia applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinical teams, IT stakeholders, and vendors to enhance workflows, troubleshoot issues, and support integrated healthcare technology solutions.
This role requires strong Epic OpTime experience, application support expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent customer service. Travel between supported operating room locations may be required.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, validate, maintain, and support Epic OpTime/Anesthesia modules.
Provide application support and troubleshoot reported issues through resolution.
Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and recommend workflow improvements.
Support third-party integrations and vendor coordination activities.
Perform application testing, validation, and documentation of system changes.
Create and maintain workflow documentation, training materials, and user guides.
Provide end-user training and support during daily operations and go-live activities.
Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Participate in IT meetings, project discussions, and service improvement initiatives.
Assist with change management processes, including test plans, approvals, and implementation documentation.
Support reporting needs using applicable reporting tools.
Participate in policy development related to system security, downtime procedures, backup operations, and disaster recovery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of application-related experience.
Epic OpTime experience required.
Epic OpTime Certification required (Anesthesia Certification is a plus).
Experience with application testing and validation.
Experience supporting third-party integrations.
Clinical or healthcare business workflow experience preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach.
Strong interest in healthcare technology and improving operational efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Epic surgical workflows.
Knowledge of vendor relationship management.
Experience supporting OR applications and clinical systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and clinical teams.
