Job description

Stellar helps brands launch products more effectively, by ensuring they have thoughtful, authentic consumer reviews on key retailer sites. We're matchmakers, bringing together the perfect consumer with a particular product, and getting them buzzing about it where it matters most. We also help brands develop even better products by collecting honest, constructive feedback from their target customers—and we're growing.

Our Client Success Manager (CSM) is the main point of contact for our customers, responsible for delighting the brands we work with and ensuring they see clear, ongoing value. This role balances hands-on execution of our review seeding programs with proactive relationship management.

As a CSM, you're equal parts detail-oriented program manager and trusted advisor. You'll guide clients through onboarding, execute their seeding campaigns, and invest in building a long-term relationship. You’ll also be responsible for stewarding their contract renewals.

What You'll Own

Execute Review Seeding Programs

  • Manage day-to-day execution of client campaigns to collect reviews
  • Design recruiting forms, select participants, and generate ship lists
  • Monitor performance and flag any issues or opportunities
  • Deliver a final report, ensuring each client has a clear view of results and ROI

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews
  • Share insights, best practices, and ways to get more value from working with Stellar
  • Stay composed when problems or challenges arise, and turn that moment into a creative solution

Renewal & Retention Ownership

  • Own the contract renewal, closing contracts directly with your assigned clients
  • Proactively engage clients ahead of renewal to ensure a smooth process and forecast future revenue
  • Surface expansion opportunities or risks and communicate them to leadership

Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Share client feedback and surface trends to help improve our offerings
  • Contribute to evolving our client playbooks and documentation
  • Collaborate within the team to streamline workflows and reduce manual lift
  • Work cross-functionally and manage up effectively

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience with a reputation for being highly detail-oriented (in fact, you’re so detail-oriented, you’ll mention in your cover letter that you noticed this bullet point)
  • Outstanding communication, a customer-first mentality, and an internal objective to delight our customers, every day
  • Exceptional organization; you keep multiple projects on track at once and nothing slips through the cracks
  • A growth mindset and intrinsic desire to build a better mousetrap
  • Composure under pressure
  • Genuine curiosity about new technology, particularly AI; you learn new tools on your own initiative and actually put them to work, cutting your own busywork so more of your time goes to creative thinking
  • A proactive approach; you don't wait to be told when something needs doing

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients are engaged, informed, and delighted with the results they’re seeing
  • Campaigns are delivered on time (or ahead!) and with exceptional attention to detail
  • Contract renewals happen smoothly, with no surprises, and you're the one closing them
  • Retention stays high and clients grow their contract sizes over time
  • Internal teams are looped in on client needs and insights

How We Work

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves both people and processes—and wants to play a direct role in our clients’ success. We’re a values-driven company: we prioritize results over facetime; we believe in collaboration over competition; and we anchor in trust, curiosity, and flexibility.

The company is based in Boulder and the team primarily works remotely. We hire anywhere in the US.

Base salary range is $55,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include competitive health insurance, including vision and dental, matching 401(k), and generous leave.

We are an equal opportunity employer and highly value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
