We're hiring a Software Engineer, AI Automation to build production-grade AI agents that automate complex renewable energy development workflows. You'll work closely with industry experts to develop intelligent automation systems that accelerate power infrastructure projects and help shape the future of renewable energy.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy AI agents that automate power development workflows such as siting, permitting, and interconnection
• Own features end-to-end, from design through production deployment
• Develop scalable backend services, ETL pipelines, databases, and infrastructure
• Build automation systems that unlock new modeling capabilities for renewable energy projects
• Collaborate closely with product and domain experts to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions
• Gain deep expertise in renewable energy infrastructure and apply it to production AI systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building data-intensive applications
• Hands-on experience deploying AI agents in production within the last 2–3 years
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience building backend services and ETL pipelines
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with minimal specifications
• Experience shipping automation that replaces manual workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a high-growth startup or vertical AI SaaS company
• Experience with LangGraph, Agent SDK, or similar agent frameworks
• Knowledge of geospatial data or energy infrastructure
• Experience building production-scale AI automation systems
