T-Shirts Etc, Katy is the second location of a family-owned business located in the Katy area of West Houston Texas, it was established in 1983. Our story began in 1972, when my grandfather immigrated to America with his wife and 4 children during Idi Amin's purge in Uganda. In 1983, after attending an entrepreneurial conference my grandfather decided to open a t-shirt shop. Although he did not have the money to buy a new franchise, he was able to negotiate to purchase used machinery. Through my grandfather’s determination and entrepreneurial spirit, T-shirts etc. was born. Our family company has grown significantly from the small retail store in the heights. Today our family is proud have had 3 generations in the business operating 3 stores.
