About the Role
This Business Development Representative position is ideal for for early-career professionals and recent graduates with one to three years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. We encourage you to apply if you are interested in gaining hands-on experience in growth strategy and startup sales. The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.
Responsibilities
Identify and research prospective clients through market analysis, competitor research, and industry trends.
Generate and qualify leads using outbound strategies, including cold calling, targeted emailing, and networking at industry events.
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at target companies.
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute prospecting campaigns and strategies.
Schedule and book meetings for account executives, ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead status, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Stay up-to-date on product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
Represent the company at local events, conferences, and meetups to expand our network within the Bellevue tech ecosystem.
Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales or a related field.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet quotas.
Self-starter mentality with a results-driven approach and a passion for growing new business.
Preferred Skills
Three years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the tech industry.
Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building.
Technical aptitude and an interest in technology solutions; prior experience with tech apps or SaaS products is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
Other Details:
High-performing candidates may receive full-time Business Development Representative offers upon completion of three month contract if the company has available hiring needs at that time.
Work Arrangement:
This position follows a work from office model based in Bellevue, with team members expected to work in the office five days per week.
