Position: CT Technologist

Location: Chico, CA 95926

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | Variable days off

Hours: 72 hours per pay period

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for qualified new grads and experienced candidates


About the Facility

This opportunity is with a 298-bed Level II Trauma Center serving more than 400,000 residents across Northern California. The organization provides a high-acuity clinical environment with advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities and a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and professional development.


Key Responsibilities

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations while maintaining high standards for image quality and patient safety. Responsibilities include operating CT and X-ray equipment, preparing and administering contrast media, performing IV contrast injections, preparing patients and equipment, and supporting departmental quality-control standards.


Qualifications

  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate required

  • Approved CPR certification required

  • ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy Permit must be obtained within 6 months of hire

  • Diagnostic X-ray and CT experience preferred

  • Advanced CT certification preferred

  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, radiation safety and patient care

  • Strong communication, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
