Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks, Potential Extension)

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Omaha, NE)

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Contractor to join a dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing, API validation, and Agile software development, with the ability to build automation frameworks from scratch and ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.

• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and system test cases.

• Perform API testing using Postman.

• Track and document defects in Azure DevOps and FreshService.

• Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing (Web, iOS, Android).

• Validate backend data using SQL on Azure SQL databases.

• Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Execute performance testing using JMeter (preferred).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.

• Experience testing .NET web applications.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.

• Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies.

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

• API testing experience with Postman.

• Strong SQL skills for data validation.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and FreshService.

• Python scripting experience.

• Knowledge of BrowserStack, ADA testing, and JMeter is a plus.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
