Position Summary
Smart Learn Tutoring LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, scheduling meetings, and ensuring HR processes run efficiently. The ideal candidate is professional, confidential, and passionate about supporting employees and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and HR Department.
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Prepare employment-related documents, including offer letters and onboarding paperwork.
- Track employee attendance, training records, and certifications.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and organizing employee data.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and record management.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
