Substitute Teacher

Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular classroom teacher.

Provide instruction and assistance to students throughout the school day.

Maintain appropriate classroom management and student supervision.

Encourage student participation and completion of assigned work.

Follow district policies, procedures, schedules, and safety expectations.

Maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and district information.

Communicate relevant information regarding the school day to the regular classroom teacher and/or administration.

Supervise students during classrooms, hallways, lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned duties.

Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, flexibility, and appropriate judgment.

Perform other duties as assigned by district administration.
