AI Data Center Logistics/Inventory Specialist

About the Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing technology infrastructure company building and running hyperscale data center campuses. They're adding to the logistics team that keeps equipment moving from the loading dock to the data hall floor.

This role suits someone who likes hands-on work, a quick pace, and the chance to help shape how a new site runs from the beginning. You will be high-visibility and be giving tours of the facility to clients from Big Tech and top AI labs.

What You'll Do

• Receive inbound freight, including servers, networking gear, and electrical components. Check shipments against paperwork and flag damage or discrepancies.

• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment to unload, stage, and move material around the site safely.

• Fill parts requests from on-site technicians and engineers quickly and accurately so installation work stays on schedule.

• Keep the warehouse clean, labeled, and orderly so anyone can find what they need.

• Take part in cycle counts, restocking, and asset tagging to keep inventory records accurate.

• Handle outbound shipments, returns, and vendor RMAs.

• Suggest practical improvements to layout, safety, or workflow.

What Helps You Succeed

• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics hub, plant, job site, or similar physical work environment.

• A forklift certification, or willingness to earn one after hire.

• Comfort with physical work, including standing, walking, and lifting throughout a shift.

• Strong organization and follow-through, even when priorities shift during the day.

• Clear communication and a team-first attitude.

• A sense of responsibility for getting the details right.

Nice to Have

• Experience with inventory or warehouse software and handheld scanners.

• A background in shipping and receiving or stock control.

• Familiarity with IT or data center equipment.

• Time spent at a startup or high-growth company.
