SALARY RANGE: As per pending contract between the Phillipsburg Board of Education and the Phillipsburg Education Association

JOB DESCRIPTION: One-to-one LPN/Medical Assistant to assist students with medical concerns as needed in the school setting

QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:

1. Certificate � New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse

2. Experience with various medical needs

3. Competence in Knowledge / Skills

4. Student-Centered Focus

5. Knowledge of medical action plans

6. Knowledgeable about state regulations

7. Required Criminal History Background Check

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: The applicant should be knowledgeable of the following:

1. Experience working with school-aged children

2. Good organizational and interpersonal skills

3. Knowledgeable about childhood disease

4. Experience working in a school or similar setting

5. Excellent record keeping skills

6. Computer Literate

7. Knowledgeable about Medical Procedures

8. Able to communicate effectively with staff
